Mevis Go-Bike - mayors and managers on bikes for sustainable mobility!

On Friday 1 July, a dozen mayors from the Bassano area and some company managers will ride the 10 km ring of the Rosà cycling network on the e-bikes of the Mevis Go Bike project.

The initiative, aimed at promoting sustainable mobility in the area, marks the first edition of the WIN:WIN TEN footrace, part of the Win:Win inter-company tournament, which sees 24 companies in the area compete in football, volleyball and basketball tournaments, all in the name of solidarity.

This initiative represents one of the actions implemented in recent months by the company and included in the Group Sustainability Plan 2022-2025 with the aim of reducing CO2 emissions.

The e-bikes are also both a tool to promote a healthy lifestyle, where physical activity helps improve the psychological and physical well-being of people, and a service for employees, who can use them for the commute to work and for leisure.

The company has linked the project to a competition in which bikers compete for a year, after which the three who have covered the most kilometres win a bike.

Being protagonists of change: an opportunity and a challenge involving Mevis and the local administrations.
