The task of the Lean Manager is to lead the continuous improvement process by applying the lean production strategy.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Lean Manager:
- Studies the entire value creation chain to identify which steps help increase in value and which leave it unchanged, or even cause a decrease.
- Performs process analysis, time and method analysis, and based on the results proposes changes to the status quo, with tangible actions to eliminate or minimize unproductive activities.
- Optimizes the raw material supply and logistic system, technological innovation of production facilities, reorganization of workflows or information systems.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS
- Bachelor's degree in management/mechanical engineering/economics - specific training in lean management - certifications related to the skills acquired.
- Knowledge of lean system principles, processes, tools and methodologies.
- Expertise in implementing lean manufacturing projects.
- Thorough knowledge of operations (production, SCM, engineering, maintenance).
- Excellent knowledge of PC, Office (Word, Excel) and popular management software.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Concrete and operational approach.
- Capable of proactive listening and of engaging people.
- Aptitude for coordination and leadership skills.
- Communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability and ability to relate at all corporate levels.
- Capability to handle stress.
