The aim of the mechanical maintenance technician is to ensure the efficiency of production equipment and machinery, either by acting on the equipment preventively or by repairing malfunctions or possible failures.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
The mechanical maintenance technician is part of a structured team and reports directly to the Equipment Maintenance Manager:
- Interacts and collaborates in the design/improvement of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and their integration for the management of production processes.
- Collaborates in producing technical documentation for the installation, operation and maintenance of machines and equipment.
- He installs mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic applications.
- He carries out set-ups and checks on equipment or machinery or parts of machinery and/or installations.
- He manages fault recovery and optimisation of systems and processes.
- Collaborates in the management of the mechanical part of plants/equipment in the logic of continuous process improvement.
- Collaborates in defining and updating maintenance policies and monitoring and supervision methods.
- Performs preventive - predictive - incidental - improvement - extraordinary maintenance.
- Cooperates in assessing the effectiveness of the maintenance policy by means of effectiveness and efficiency indicators and cooperates in the management of corrective/improvement plans.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND FEATURES
- Diploma or qualification in mechanical engineering.
- At least two years' experience in a similar position.
- Good knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics combined with good manual dexterity and precision.
- Good ability to interpret mechanical drawings and diagrams.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
- Accuracy.
- Teamwork.
