QUALITY CONTROL OPERATOR

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The Quality Control Operator, integrated into a structured team and reporting directly to the Quality Plant Manager, will:

  • Supervise production activities in terms of product and process quality by performing final inspections/approvals (according to product documentation), conducting audits (product and process) as scheduled, and interacting with technologists and operations teams to optimize department management.
  • Utilize three-dimensional measuring instruments.
  • Record audit results as defined in the relevant procedures/instructions.
  • Oversee the Quality Wall activity by applying approved guidelines and documenting results (according to the relevant procedures).
  • Perform quality audits for outgoing products as scheduled and record results.
  • Assist the Quality Plant Manager in identifying training needs for department operators regarding product/process quality management.
  • Support the Quality Plant Manager in executing training plans (individual or group) for production personnel during onboarding, role changes, or when skill gaps are identified, paying particular attention to evaluating training effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the execution of the Quality System audit plan (including direct execution when qualified).
  • Assist the Quality Plant Manager in managing non-conformance situations (internal issues, returns, or at acceptance) by ensuring proper documentation and application of problem-solving methodologies (as defined in procedures) and potentially collaborating with Customer Quality Management (or other functions) to handle exceptions, acceptance criteria, or root cause identification.
  • Support the Quality Plant Manager in validating Product Quality Plans for new productions and in validating production processes (transfers).

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years of experience in quality management in medium-sized companies certified to at least ISO9001 standards.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using traditional and three-dimensional measuring instruments (preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Precision and attention to detail.
  • Teamwork-oriented mindset.
