MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
The Toolmaker is part of a structured team, reports directly to the Production Leader and is responsible for:
- In collaboration with the technicians, tooling-related information and technical evaluations regarding the efficiency/effectiveness of the machine/equipment assembly.
- In collaboration with quality personnel, evaluations of the manufacturability of the product with the available equipment.
- Preparing the machine with production equipment, ensuring that the product meets the relevant specifications (drawing and expected production speed per cycle) perfectly.
- Ensuring compliance with the Production Start-up Approval procedure.
- Carrying out scheduled checks in the absence of machine operators.
- Meeting the tooling times required by the Operations Dept.
- Performing or supporting maintenance work on equipment specifically delegated to the appropriate department.
- Monitoring the functional capabilities of machines/equipment to identify, suggest and request extraordinary/improvement maintenance needs outside the normal preventive maintenance schedule.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS
- Diploma or qualification in mechanical field.
- Ability to read technical/mechanical drawing.
- At least two years' experience in similar position.
- Analytical skills and precision.
- Teamwork.
