MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
The warehouse worker is part of a structured team, reports directly to the Logistic Supervisor and is responsible for:
- Receiving the incoming material, unloading goods, checking weights, filling in the tags for each handling unit, checking the correspondence between the order and the material, carrying out acceptance quality checks (if required) and informing the quality supervisor of any shortfalls; and also, storing the material in the warehouse, recording it in the IT System (in accordance with the relevant procedure).
- Maintaining the archive of delivery notes, unloading cards, orders, stock records.
- Keeping the stock records up to date by recording incoming and outgoing products in the IT System and carry out physical stock-take checks (as instructed by the Logistic Supervisor).
- Collecting from the various departments the requests for material to be delivered in time for production, collecting residues at the end of the order.
- Reporting quality and quantity non-conformities to the Logistic Supervisor.
- Dispatching products to customers, verifying the correspondence between the quantity of the outgoing product and the customer order; in the event of a mismatch, reporting the situation to the Logistic Supervisor.
- Preparing delivery documentation, ensuring that the material is ready in time for dispatch.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS
- At least two years' experience in a similar position.
- Ability to drive a forklift truck and possession of the relevant licence.
- Good organisational skills.
- Aptitude for teamwork.
- Dynamism and a proactive outlook.
