The warehouse worker has the task of managing the handling of material within the company and is responsible for the flow of goods between the various plants.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
The warehouse worker is part of a structured team and reports directly to the Plant Manager:
- It receives the incoming material, unloads the goods, checks the weights, fills in the tags for each handling unit, checks the correspondence between the order and the material, performs the quality control in acceptance (if required) and finally places the material in the warehouse, recording its loading in the Information System (in accordance with the relevant procedure).
- Maintains the archive of delivery notes, unloading cards, orders, inventory situations.
- Keeps up-to-date with loads and unloads the inventory situation in the Information System and carries out physical inventories.
- Reports non-conformity situations and quantity differences to the Plant Manager.
- Manages logistics, coordinates internal material transports and inter-company transfers.
- Independently interfaces with transporters for the planning of deliveries and collections of goods.
- He manages the vertical warehouse.
- He deals with packing and labelling of goods.
- Prepares the required delivery documentation; Makes sure the material is ready in time for delivery.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND FEATURES
- At least two years' experience in a similar position.
- Preferably a technical qualification and/or previous experience in a company in the metal-mechanical sector.
- Ability to drive a forklift and possession of the relevant licence.
- Good organisational skills.
- Dynamism and proactivity.
