Junior Sales Manager

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

The Junior Sales Manager is part of a structured team, reports directly to the Sales Director and is responsible for:

  • Collaborating with Sales Management in defining the company positioning and the consequent commercial strategies;
  • Studying the relevant markets with reference to customers, competitors and market trends; reporting to Sales Management results and evidence useful for defining sales strategies;
  • Defining, in collaboration with Sales Management, the marketing tools (company presentations, trade fairs, profile, DVDs, etc.) useful for their own sales activities;
  • Setting the sales budget in accordance with the directives of Sales Management;
  • Analysing weekly/monthly turnover, Marginality and New Business reports, presenting results in the search for new customers and new business opportunities;
  • Initiating/driving the bidding process for new products or processes of strategic interest;
  • Checking/approving the supply offer prepared based on the customer's offer request;
  • Taking an active part in debt collection activities.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS

  • Bachelor's degree in science or economic.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in similar roles (Sales Manager, Account Manager, Key Account Manager) in structured companies, possibly in an international environment.
  • Customer portfolio (preferably non-automotive) and in-depth knowledge of companies and managers, with whom he/she has shared complex commercial negotiations.
  • Knowledge of industrialisation techniques relating to the production technologies of the sector.
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language.
  • Excellent knowledge of Office.
  • Aptitude for working to objectives and being measured by results.
  • Aptitude for leadership and team building.
  • Excellent communication skills, including establishing contacts and networking skills, and negotiation skills, from first contact to the closing of the business deal.
